Hey guys!
I don't know about you but I have trouble going on the treadmill or for a run without some great music to pump me up. It feels great to block out the world around me and solely pay attention to the lyrics and beat of a song. Or, if I'm running somewhere with lots of scenery, I'll put my music on low and choose some songs with a pretty melody to enhance the beauty.
I have weird taste in music, as sometimes you will hear me listening to something slow and then my next song will be rap. This may seem strange, but I often listen to depressing music as it causes me to really think, and a casual run through a park is the perfect place to do so.
Anyhow, I have come up with a list of some of my favourite songs to listen to while working out. I will hopefully post a new list here every month. Remember, everyone has different taste, so just because I like a song, it doesn't guarantee you will! Difference in opinion is what makes us all unique.
These songs are from all over the place; some old, some new. It was very hard to choose just 15, so these are the ones I've been listening to recently. I'm sure I have forgotten many but that's what next month's list is for! Perhaps if I have time and enough songs, I'll make a new list every two weeks.
Safety Tip: It can dangerous to run alone, especially if you're in a trail. By listening to music you are decreasing your awareness of the things and people around you. When I go on a run alone I always just wear one headphone so that I can hear everything around me.
